9. Perfumed tablets from Ponoie

Ponoie is a brand new shop located near Pigalle, specializing in home goods scented with organic essential oils. In this beautiful and relaxing space , even if you already have tons of scented vegan candles at home, you ‘ll find many products that are innovative and unique. For instance their floral diffusers or their translucent candle- holders entirely made with GMO free soy wax and decorated with pressed plants and flowers (oats stalks, red carnations…). We’re particularly fond of their perfumed pellets for linen, scented with lavandin, geranium, cypress or citrus essential oils. They’re lightweight in a suitcase, and they will remind you of Paris each time you open your lingerie drawer…

8. A piece of jewellery from La Fabrique Nomade

La Fabrique Nomade is a non-profit organization settled in Le Viaduc des Arts, a hub for design in the East of Paris. It helps refugee artisans (woodworkers, metal workers, tailors, jewelry designers) to practice their craft again and find employment in France, through teaming up with French designers who work as volunteers. The theme of their new collection (“The Treasure”) inspired jewelry designers from Iran, Venezuela, and Eritrea, who came up with poetic rings, earrings or necklaces that all tell a long and beautiful story. Make sure you visit their studio, right under “La Coulée Verte”, the Parisian equivalent of the New York Highline!

A flock of birds sets off in search of Simorgh, the mythical bird-king. It took years of travel, so that thirty birds find their king, who is none other than themselves.
Ghazaleh Esmailpour and Lou Leygnac drew their inspiration from this Iranian tale and reveal the treasure it carries: that of perseverance, resilience and the encounter with oneself. Ghazaleh assembles clouds of abstract birds made of copper and brass, in crown, necklace, earrings and head jewel.

7. Dried flowers from Herbarium

Founded by 2 sisters, plant-enthusiasts and fans of green living, this brand aims to revisit classic herbariums with a modern feel. They started with an e-shop but recently opened their “atelier” in Le Marais, where they dry carefully sourced plant and flowers from all over the world, before pressing them into “portable herbariums”, using very traditional botanist techniques. Pick your favorite among a large selection of patterns and frames, including capsule collections named “Amalfi” or « Notting Hill », or have yours custom-made at the “flower bar”.

2. An handcrafted soap by Le Baigneur

Spoil your favorite man with a shaving soap « made in Montreuil », a not too gentrified suburb in the East of Paris. Specialized in skincare for men since 2012, Le Baigneur is an environmentally committed brand that makes handcrafted soaps and beard oils in a very traditional way, using natural and mostly organic ingredients such as Shea butter, green clay, aloe vera and essential oils. And as Montreuil is also an African neighborhood, all the products are beautifully wrapped in recyclable paper reminiscent of Wax fabrics.

5. Four crazy spreads developed by a fashion designer

Confiture Parisienne launched a collection of four spreads developed by Amelie Pichard.

What, Amélie Pichard? Yes, Amélie Pichard! The famous designer will bring some glam to your bbq parties.

With « le cornichon » (the pickles) to spread directly on your ham and butter baguette.

Or « cocktail cacahuète » (peanut cocktail) to make a dip for your carrots or gressini.

Or « du vin nature s’il vous plait » (wine please) a spread that goes well with old cheeses.

Even better : "queen beuh" (weed queen), the CBD infused honey that will transform your greek yogurt.

These 4 mini-jars will be delivered in a nice salami looking wrapping paper.

crazy isn’t it ?

A jar of Parisian rooftop honey

A jar of Parisian rooftop honey

For a taste of Paris away from Paris, bring back a pot of local honey. Over the last ten years, the French capital has become a bee-friendly city where more than 2000 vegetal species grow in a pesticide–free environment (none of them are allowed, whether in the public parks or on your private balcony). Nowadays, there are beehives on the rooftops or in the gardens of many historical buildings (Opera Garnier, École Militaire, Musée d’Orsay, Le Palais de Tokyo, Les Invalides), and even on top of some railway or RER stations. Don’t forget to buy a jar of “Miel de Paris” (which, according to specialists, has hints of citrus, litchi and mint) after seeing an exhibition: it’s available in most museum stores, and also at the Miel Factory, a wonderful gourmet honey shop in Le Marais.

Like New York, Paris also has a thing at the moment for eco-friendly botanical dyes. Charlotte Leguay, the founder of Atelier Solveig, creates beautiful and sustainable linen in her studio in the North of Paris. She uses various techniques (Japanese « shibori », tie & dye, « eco-bundle ») and very carefully sourced plants and flowers. She even started to grow her own dedicated garden in Touraine. We love her simple kitchen towels, dyed with humble onions or avocado pits, each of which is a « piece unique » !

6. Gourmet jams from La Confiture parisienne

6. Gourmet jams from La Confiture parisienne

You’ll find no chemicals, no additives, no sweeteners in the handcrafted gourmet jams from La Confiture Parisienne, a jam fabric created 3 years ago in the heart of Paris, but just seasonal fruit and unrefined cane sugar. According to rigorous tradition, their jams and jellies are cooked in copper cauldrons before being delicately poured into white enameled ceramic jars (to protect the content from the light). Apart from “mono-fruit” classic jams, La Confiture Parisienne invented unique and refined recipes (chestnut, pear and tonka bean; carrot, passion fruit, vanilla; strawberry, bell pepper and balsamic), sometimes collaborating with the super star pastry-chef Cedric Grollet. They’re sold in various gourmet shops (such as La Grande Épicerie), but consider visiting their own shop/laboratory, for an unforgettable breakfast and jam tasting session!

From the collaboration with Chef Cédric Grolet, emerged an exclusive creation: a stylish golden jar containing a hazelnut cream directly inspired by the Chef’s iconic dessert : La Noisette.

These lovers of taste offer you the most gourmand spread : toasted hazelnuts, caramelized praliné, creamy toffee with a pinch of fleur de sel. Everything is there !

An explosive and tasty collaboration like no other !
